How It’s Used
The Brief
Higher familiarity = more frequent check-in reminders.- Inner Circle — Weekly check-in suggestions
- Acquaintance — Much less frequent

On a Contact Profile

Find the contact
Search for them with
@name in The Assistant.2
Open their profile
Click their name in the results.

Set familiarity
Click the stars to set the level.

During Import
When importing contacts, you can set default familiarity for the batch.Auto-Detection
Orbit can suggest familiarity based on:- How often you interact
- Meeting frequency
- Email patterns

Bulk Editing
Change familiarity for multiple contacts at once:1
Open People view
Go to Settings → People.

Check the contacts you want to update.

Choose the level to apply.
