Download Orbit

Go to askorbit.co and download the latest version for macOS.

Install the app

Open the downloaded .dmg file and drag Orbit to your Applications folder.

Launch Orbit

Open Orbit from your Applications folder. You’ll see the Orbit icon appear in your menu bar.

Connect Your Google Account

Orbit syncs with Google to access your contacts and calendar.

Click Sign in with Google

Select your account

Choose the Google account you use for work.

Grant permissions

Orbit needs access to your Contacts and Calendar. Your data stays on your device.

Select Your Calendars

Choose which calendars Orbit should track for meetings and events.

Select your primary work calendar and any team calendars you want Orbit to monitor.

Set Up Your Shortcut

Configure a keyboard shortcut to open Orbit from anywhere.

The default is ⌘ + Shift + O. You can change this later in Settings.

You’re Ready

Click the Orbit icon in your menu bar to see The Brief — your daily digest of what needs attention.
